I’m in my 30s and most of the time I feel like I’m simply unlearning things, to be honest. I’m unlearning what others have taught me, what I’ve been telling myself for years, and what society told me my life should look like.

But before I get to my 30s, I should probably tell you about my 20s. I’m just going to tell you one thing actually because that’s the only one that’s relevant to this article: I spent a lot of time in my head. No, not a lot. Most of my time. I’ve spent most of my time in my head.

I don’t beat myself up too much for it, though. Do I wish I would have seen things the way I see them now? Of course. But do I also understand that wisdom comes with age? Absolutely.

So I don’t have any regrets. In fact, I would probably do everything exactly the same, so I can learn the lessons and know the things I know now.

However, I will try to make it easier for others. Especially for overthinkers. So if you’re one of them, tag along. We’re going for a ride.

Let’s get one thing clear first — I don’t know it all and there are still a lot of times when I feel confused or stuck. But that’s how life is, it has its ups and downs, and we’re going to keep learning for the rest…
